Our warm and welcoming restaurant is made for the people of and visitors to Glasgow, drawing inspiration from the hazel branch depicted in the city’s crest, which can be seen throughout the adjoining original building, which was once the city’s Parish Hall, built in the 1900s.
Just as nature is central to the Dear Green Place, Hazel has nature at its core, with our beautiful Hazel tree being the centrepiece of the restaurant, providing the perfect backdrop for a unique culinary experience.

Hazel restaurant has a lovely relaxing feel to it, the service is excellent too and the food is great. I would recommend it, my daughter comes in from Edinburgh and it’s really handy for Queen Street Station just to blocks along.
Absolutely loved my brunch at Hazel, everything about it was perfect. It was a celebration treat for my friend’s birthday and the staff kindly gave us both a free cocktail! Will definitely be back.
We had 2 course Easter Sunday Roast it was delicious perfectly cooked and the service was excellent. They have a brilliant chef/baker. Service is excellent too.
Had a wonderful meal here last night. Both main courses exceptional and the decor of the restaurant brings everything together. A real find in the heart of Glasgow. From someone who eats out a lot in Glasgow this place is a winner.
Came for lunch today. The food is absolutely delicious. We went for the soup, haggis bonbons, mac and cheese and red pepper hummus. It was all 10/10. The atmosphere is lovely and chill. Decor is stunning. We had a great experience and will definitely be back.
